The dress fits nicely, I'm 5'4. The waist sits a bit lower so there's a little gather at the waist. If you have a short neck the shoulder pads will basically make it disappear, so that's why I returned it. Otherwise it's gorgeous, lightweight, the black doesn't show through in the hip area but the bust is slightly visible in bright light

Single layer chiffon with no lining so it's sheer. I wore it over a nude bodysuit. You also NEED anti-static spray or it clings like crazy. True to size. At 5'5 it hits right at the ankle. Really eye-catching dress
Really beautiful dress. It's sheer so definitely wear nude underwear or a bodysuit underneath. I removed the shoulder pads but heads up, the dress drops quite a bit without them and the waist ends up in the wrong spot. That happened to me, it sat much better with them in. But the shoulder pads do make your shoulders look wider and shorten your neck. Chose the lesser of two evils
